Anybody tried the new maybelline mineral lipstick??

I would say Stila. I love all of their stuff, and there eyeshadow and blush kits really last a long time. They have everything. i really can't help you, but try getting another brand. it will look the same. you'll find another brand that's just as cute and you'll love it like you love the NYC brand. i always see the red/orangeish color lip gloss at walmart in like pretty much every brand...

I'm an Avon Rep. also -the only thing I can suggest is that you buy one from the 'what new' employee book and see if your customer enjoy the 'flip' feature. Also use it yourself and see how it compares to the other lipstick you like. For me -I don't like anything matte and prefer the really creamy or glossy lipstick such as the lip swirls. :-)loan

My baby decided that my new sheets would look better if she colored them with my lip0stick - while I agree the shade is lovely. I would rather have my sheets clean. As stated above, do the iron trick. What is left is usually a grease spot. Use a good dish detergent to remove the grease spot, rinse thoroughly and then launder. If it is still there, put 1/4 cup of white vinegar in with the laundry.

So I just bought this new lipstick and it's absolutely adorable.
It's Wet n' Wild and called ';berry frost'; or something. It's a pink color and looks great with my dark brown hair, especially when it's slightly curled.
Problem is, I have no idea what to wear with it. I'm usually quite good with this stuff but not this time.
The weather tomorrow is going to be a mixture of sun and clouds with a chance of rain.

The darker one she wears could be compared to Dubonnet, a red dark red. Also, MAC has a lipstick kit out with two really pretty red lipsticks and a red lipglass which comes in a tiny satchel. I would also try the red lipglass from the Rockocco line that came out a couple of months ago. Try too to look at Lady Bug, Tassle, and Russian Red lipsticks. Not a lipstick but a gloss - Buxom Lip Plumpers (glosses) by Bare Escentuals cost $18.00. You might just want to spend it when you do have the money because I don't imagine anything under $5.00 is going to have any real lip enhancing ingredients.
Sorry, as far as lipstick I'm not sure. I do know that if you stick to lighter colors they're supposed to give the appearance of larger lips. Use a lip liner though, not too much darker than the lip color or it looks ridiculous. Good luck.

I wear a Revlon lipstick patted onto my lips that is deep red. It looks great because I'm a redhead and I finally (FINALLY) found a shade that can work with my coloring.

I wear a Revlon lipstick patted onto my lips that is deep red. It looks great because I'm a redhead and I finally (FINALLY) found a shade that can work with my coloring.
that and when I get my foundation done so that my freckles still are visible :)

Cosmetics are more expensive in NZ than places like the US or Canada. You can buy Mac make up duty free though so it might be cheaper that way.
Personally I found a much better foundation than the Mac ones or any other that is made here in NZ - check out the website www.immersioncosmetics.co.nz
It's a mineral foundation in powder form %26amp; it gives you a glow like a movie star, they can send you cheap samples if you tell them your skintone. And no I'm not associated with them in any way, I just tried it last year %26amp; it's the best, I chose Sahara for my pale skin %26amp; it comes out a brown glow that looks natural. go for classic. stick to a true red, avoid a hard lip line though. low gloss or super-matte finishes are nice for fall. (keep your eyes neutral and classic)
here's a great tip... find a red lip liner (i like the soft red lip liner that the body shop carries $8.50) dip it into a clear lip balm pot (non sparkly). rub the speck of gloss all over the lips with the liner. slightly smudge the outer lip line with a smudger or a qtip. just to sften the look. hard liner is cool but its drastic.
(cherry tones might be a bit bright for fall) think more classic hollywood glamour.
Blondes shouldn't wear red lipstick, but if you think you can pull it off. I would try a Cherry Red.

How nude is the new nude colorstay lipstick from Revlon?
They have this new color called Smooth Nude or something like that. I saw a picture of it, and it looks like it'd be okay for my skintone, but I'm not sure. Has anyone used it? My skin tone is also in between porcelain and light ivory, and I purchased the nude colorstay lipstick about a week ago. I really love the color - it's pretty close to perfect. Everyone's lips are different, but this product matches our skin tone really well. My issue, though, is that it is a little bit glittery. I would have preferred a matte lip color. i bought it and the colours are good, but getting them on is hassle. the colours dont mix well on the applicator. if you use the applicator, as well as having unmixed colours, most of the product ends up on the sides of the plastic tip!
For 拢10 i dont think its worth the hassle. its okay for the start of the night because it does have okay staying power, however its too much hassle when your out and about! i thihk i will return it and spend the money on a glazewear lipgloss because they are great and i will use them.

That Covergirl TruShine. It's pretty awesome. People who have never used the product will say that it is waxy. But it's not at all. It's very flattering and it felt really comfortable to me.
Back a couple of days later:
I would recommend Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick. I think it's exactly what you are looking for . It's not glossy at all but is very comfortable and not to dramatic. The colors are really beautiful. I have to tell you that it cost 22 dollars and that is pretty hefty for a lipstick. Its Covergirl Trushine. For me, it was okay. It did match my skin tone, but it was dry and waxy, so you might want to get a lipstick that's more moisturizing.

That Covergirl TruShine. It's pretty awesome. People who have never used the product will say that it is waxy. But it's not at all. It's very flattering and it felt really comfortable to me.

I would recommend Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick. I think it's exactly what you are looking for . It's not glossy at all but is very comfortable and not to dramatic. The colors are really beautiful. I have to tell you that it cost 22 dollars and that is pretty hefty for a lipstick. But it really and truly works and has a beautiful hue on the lips.What brand of makeup makes that new lipstick that is supposed to let the color of your own lips show through?

yeah you could or you could try using it with other products to change the color. if that still doesnt work, call up some friends and arrange to have a party where youbring stuff you dont want/use anymore and put it into a pile and tkae turns picking stuff out of it or however you want to do it. this works really well to make use of stuff that have been lying around since you get new stuff and whatever isnt picked donate to a women's shelter :)
mix it with another color to make it different! put a red on top of it to make it mid ton mix it up, change it

OK buy a long lasting lip color and the trick is...this may sound stupid but it works put the long last lip colors on COMPLETELY DRY LIPS don't lick them don't put moisturizer nothing THEN take a paper towel set it on your lips and somewhat press on it and take a powder like..baby powder and take a brush and flutter it on the paper towel over your lips then take off TRUST ME IT WORKS!Have you tried Rimmel lipstick lock?

i think it looks reallllllly good on you. it doesnt work on most ppl. if lipstick is too much of a bother you could always get red lipglos soo its a lil more sheer. but i def think the red lipstick is ur color! haha :]

Well the pink toned lipstick you have on looks good but I wouldnt go for a full on red unless its a deep red, but definately not a bright red. It would look too overwhelming. Try finding a brown tinited red or a dark dark red I think either of those would look good. Also..I cant remember who makes it, but theres a lip stain called Blood Orange that would look good on you too, I have it so let me go find it so I can reccomend the brand. But you look nice with and without lipstick

I think the lipstick compliments your naturally pouty lips and you can definitely pull it off.I like that color on you,but it's bold so if you're going to wear it make sure your makeup look primarily focuses on your lips with a natural eye. If you want to play up those gorgeous eyes, focus on a natural lip and a more played up eye look.Hope this helps :)
ur face shows me a innocent sweet girl, a very soft pink would fit u nicely instead of bold red. if u plan on wearing red, u'd need all sorts of heavy make up. although ur natrual look probably best.

I would say mocha,or plum but not to dark.... try to stay away from the bight colors it would make u look pale ;-) also try gel eyeliners to bring them out...they work great unlike liquid or pencil liners they dnt run. You can go for matte finish lipsticks. To make it more dry, you should apply lipstick with brush and then put a tissue paper between your lips and press on your lips on the tissue. The tissue absorbs the excess lipstick and the oily content of lipstick and makes it the way you want. You can try Lakme or Maybelline lipsticks. For fair colour there is no limit of shade as such. You can try pinks, maroons, purples, peaches, browns, cherry reds, frosted (metallic) shades... depending on occassion and time and your cloth colour. i have neutrogena lipstick and i love it. its the one in the silver tube called rose petal. and its just amazing. if i were you for your school pictures you should wear some lipstick like a natural color or a soft pink for starters. i think lip gloss make girls look like they're 10. but im not really sure if they test on animals.What lipstick should i wear for taking pictures ...?
What i use for taking pictures is simple lip glosss.Lip glossss named Beauty Rush from La Senza Girl it tastes great. And looks amazing so you do not have a problem with kissing guys and them tasting horrible stickinessss. With beauty rush, your lips stay soft and refreshed. Me I do not lip glossloss because over time it makes your lips not smooth.
Cover girl is also a really good product.
But personally I think lipstick makes people look old, try simple shine lip gloss to make you look like sexy and young ;)

Similar colors to this limited edition lipstick? pictures inside! (lancome proenza pink)?
i'm not sure if you guys are familar with the shade ';proenza pink'; by lancome, but it was limited edition and isn't being sold anymore. it's not even on ebay. i am in love with this shade of pink..so i was wondering if anyone could recommend any colors that are extremely similar? i've looked at the mac lipsticks and haven't found anything like this. hopefully someone can help! i'll love you foreverrrr! lots of pictures so you guys can get a good idea of what it looks like.

Ok, so I looked everywhere!! Its a hard colour to find!! (and also a very pretty colour!) But these are the ones I found that are similar:
Sephora - Maniac Mat Long-Wearing Matte Lipstick in Mat 01
Bourjois - No.19 Mauve Et Apres
Avon SpectraColor Lipstick - the pinks (this is a seven lip colour in one thing, though there are a few colours that look very similar. You could also try mixing some)
GOSH - Velvet touch lipstick in 43 tropical pink
MAC Paint stick - Cool pink
Chanel - Rouge hydrabase, in coco pink
Chanel - rouge allure, in shade darling
Chanel - aqualumiere, in shade Ipanema
ELF - Luscious liquid lipstick, in shade bark
ELF - Lipstick (that was its only name :S). shade runway pink
ELF - all over colour stick in lilac petal
Ok I tried to find something similar, but its really hard!! There is nothing that pale!! SO what I suggest is using a white lipstick first (sounds crazy, but trust me). So use a white lipstick and THEN put on a similar shade that is a little darker than the lancome lipstick. This should make the lipstick look paler like lancomes. Also, try a little pale lipstick on top of a hot pink lipstick to make it like lancomes. Dont be afraid to mix colours to get proenza pink!
