You are naturally beautiful and I would say that ';before'; was a much better look.
If you insist on wearing make up, remember that it is either lips or eyes. This means:
*if you want your lips stand out, make sure you only use a bit of transparent lip gloss or a lipstick of a neutral colour.
*if you want a bright lipstick, don't make your eyes to stand out... Only use a mascara and some light eye-shadow.

I am loving the new hair doo! it has soo much more volume and fullness to it, however the make up i'm not too keen on your sooo naturally pretty! go for a clear or sparkly lipgloss the lipstick colour is too hard on your features and make ur lips thin and cut back on the eyeliner gives you panda eyes go for lighter colours.

The haircut is beautiful. I think the lipstick color is a tiny bit too strong. Try another color if you get the chance. Don't get me wrong, the red looks fine, but I'm sure that there is another color out there that will compliment your complexion better.
Because your complexion is so dark, you should go for a darker shade of lipstick. Bright red/scarlet looks better on the fair skinned. You look great though, tbh lipstick doesnt make much of a difference!:)

Look at the natural color of your lip, then go one shade darker or brighter. If your lips have a lot of natural pigment or are naturally red, go for gloss instead for a fresh look. Of all the changes Yahoo might have made, what I really need is another stupid assistant. Y!A when run under Firefox, as I discovered recently, underlines possible misspellings like in MS Word. Now we get the dumb graphic off to the side and it is wrong - like not knowing gigawatt or Firefox.
Get your people working on the real problems, like fixing the stupid suggestions the spellchecker makes - almost always showing the splitting of a word at two consonants instead of the most likely solid word.
And this stupid version doesn't even high light the words properly, picking up the last letter of the previous word.

They are spending time fixing things that are not broken but they won't attempt to fix things that have been broken for years.. like the unfair reporting..and now if you apppeal and it's denied (and it will be cause it's all computerized) they take off another 10 points. basically they are telling you not to waste your time appealing or be punished. I left a thing on the forum today about having VN that were false and somebody twice had the nerve to tell me that YA doesn't make a mistake and that IF they gave me VN, it was deserved. how does he know. He didn't read my questions. neither does YA staff ..that's the point. They are losing a LOT of people (going to answerbag and other places). This false VN has been discussed on forum for over 2 years and you see it's gotten nowhere.. it's actually gotten worse and I agree with you about the pig and lipstick

I normally wear liquid foundation, eye liner, eye shadow, blusher & lipstick & mascara, but for New Years Eve.
is there a different look anyone could recommend? want to look extra special, before i put make up on, i use a cleanser, toner and moisturiser. is there anything you can think of that i could change to look different but gorgeous for this special night? i have shoulder length hair and am a dark brunette with quite pale skin and blue/grey eyes.I normally wear liquid foundation, eye liner, eye shadow, blusher %26amp; lipstick %26amp; mascara, but for New Years Eve.
Let's not just focus on the top half, focus on the whole you.
I have to say I think when someone has a tan they look healthy and radiant. So i would start by exfolating and removing unwanted hair and moisturising on the 29th, (if shaving though make it the 30th) it's best to exfoliate and moisturise the day before applying tanning products. Then on the night of the 30th, a few hours before bed time apply your chosen tanning product. Fake Bake and St Tropez are probably the best and easiest at the mo. Ensure you have applied the tanning product all over, get a friend to help with the difficult to reach places (you could do each others). To avoid streaky elbows, feet and knees apply these areas with some moisturiser. Leave to dry and go to bed with it still on. (prob best if you put a towel down on the bed as it does stain.)
Morning of the 31st - The tan has had time to develop, so now is the time to wash it off in the shower.
For Make-up - I would go for more dramatic make up. I also have dark brunette hair and greeny blue eyes. So if it was me I would apply my usual foundation, powder, bronzer/blusher. Theres no point changing the base as you already know it works. If you feel the base is a little light compared to the bronzed body a slightly darker powder does the trick.
I would make eyes dramatic and lips neutral, so maybe smoky eyes, use a light silver/grey, a charcoal/black and a shimmery white highlighter. Apply the lighter colour all over the eye lid right up to the brow. Apply the darker colour at the edges and blend up and in towards the centre using the crease of the eye as a guide. Then finally apply the shimmery white just below the eyebrow to highlight them. Ensure both eyes are even and brows are well groomed.
Line eyes with black eyeliner and dab some of the shimmery white eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes. Curl eyelashes and apply lashings of mascara.
Opt for a sheer gloss for lips, peachy pinks are best.
Hair - I'm unsure of the style you have whether it is layered or a long bob etc. Sweeping fringes always add an element of softness to the face. Avoid middle partings as this may make the look to harsh, side partings are best for softness. If it is long enough maybe some soft curls would be nice. Set in rollers then finish with curling tongs.
Finish off the look with pretty jewellery. I love diamond or cz studs with a matching necklace and braclet.
Just before putting on outfit, rub on some Body Shops Shea Butter for Body, this complements the tan, gives it a glowing shimmery glossed look.

try smokey eyes and a more clean look... try to attract attention to your eyes... use a little bronzer and natural lip gloss
i would go for a smoky eye, dewy cheeks, and a killer hot lipstick....go for a dramatic look (that is guessing thats not how you do your make up like that everyday)
Have you seen the benefit make up range? They do a great bronze tint that you mix with high beam to give a gorgeous bronzed illuminated look to your cheekbones - think J-Lo....
Go without eyeshadow, just liquid eyeliner and lot's of mascara for a 60's inspired look
focus everything on your eyes. make a smokey eye look using different shades of bronze/gold/brown (lay off the black and gray colors). When you put on the mascara, pull the brush away towards the side of your head, so instead of looking straight like this
|| they will look like this \\\\\. to give it a more angled look, more dramatic. then do eyeliner 3/4 of the way on your eye instead of your whole eye lid. but if you already put it just 3/4 of the way, line your whole lid. use a peach satin blush, like the one from maybelline (its the dream mousse one). use a clear lip gloss and your good to go!!!!

Highlighter used on top of your cheek bones and edges of eyes under brow. The Body Shop do a great one. It really brightens up your face. Maybe you could try different coloured lipstick (use gloss on top) or eyeshadow for a varying look? Good luck and I'm sure you'll look great!!

You sound up to date so you probably know to use slightly warmer than lukewarm water to open your pores before cleansing and after cleaning, cooling the skin down and shrinking them again?
(That's just a tip, not advice).
The day before, put some of your regular cleanser in your palm and add some sugar. GENTLY cleanse your face in circular motions and rinse well. This will exfoliate and remove all old and dead skin cells. I wouldn't recommend using toner straight after the exfoliation but, moisturise!
Try to get your hands on some face pearls as they give your cheeks and brow a healthy glow.
If you want to try receive it in time (who knows whether you will), www.avonshop.com (AVON) sells a product called 'Shimmer Swirls Face Illuminator' or try your local market for something similar - it will help you to look radiant!
Use minimal make-up - ALWAYS. Skip the liner and use some eyeshadow contrasting to the colour of your eyes. My favourite for blue eyes is a twin darkish line on the upper lid of brown shadow, followed by a lighter tone or even better, a bright cream colour. But, that would depend on what you're wearing. You might want to have a go at a peachy colour too (depending on your exact haircolour).
Always make up either your lips or eyes with a decent amount of make-up (not over-made) but not both at the same time - that's 80s and at this stage, slutty.
So, either do your eyes up and use a light gloss on your lips or wear minimal make-up on your eyes and make sure your lips are noticed.

Let's not just focus on the top half, focus on the whole you.
I have to say I think when someone has a tan they look healthy and radiant. So i would start by exfolating and removing unwanted hair and moisturising on the 29th, (if shaving though make it the 30th) it's best to exfoliate and moisturise the day before applying tanning products. Then on the night of the 30th, a few hours before bed time apply your chosen tanning product. Fake Bake and St Tropez are probably the best and easiest at the mo. Ensure you have applied the tanning product all over, get a friend to help with the difficult to reach places (you could do each others). To avoid streaky elbows, feet and knees apply these areas with some moisturiser. Leave to dry and go to bed with it still on. (prob best if you put a towel down on the bed as it does stain.)
Morning of the 31st - The tan has had time to develop, so now is the time to wash it off in the shower.
For Make-up - I would go for more dramatic make up. I also have dark brunette hair and greeny blue eyes. So if it was me I would apply my usual foundation, powder, bronzer/blusher. Theres no point changing the base as you already know it works. If you feel the base is a little light compared to the bronzed body a slightly darker powder does the trick.
I would make eyes dramatic and lips neutral, so maybe smoky eyes, use a light silver/grey, a charcoal/black and a shimmery white highlighter. Apply the lighter colour all over the eye lid right up to the brow. Apply the darker colour at the edges and blend up and in towards the centre using the crease of the eye as a guide. Then finally apply the shimmery white just below the eyebrow to highlight them. Ensure both eyes are even and brows are well groomed.
Line eyes with black eyeliner and dab some of the shimmery white eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes. Curl eyelashes and apply lashings of mascara.
Opt for a sheer gloss for lips, peachy pinks are best.
Hair - I'm unsure of the style you have whether it is layered or a long bob etc. Sweeping fringes always add an element of softness to the face. Avoid middle partings as this may make the look to harsh, side partings are best for softness. If it is long enough maybe some soft curls would be nice. Set in rollers then finish with curling tongs.
Finish off the look with pretty jewellery. I love diamond or cz studs with a matching necklace and braclet.
Just before putting on outfit, rub on some Body Shops Shea Butter for Body, this complements the tan, gives it a glowing shimmery glossed look.

Have you seen the benefit make up range? They do a great bronze tint that you mix with high beam to give a gorgeous bronzed illuminated look to your cheekbones - think J-Lo....
Go without eyeshadow, just liquid eyeliner and lot's of mascara for a 60's inspired look
focus everything on your eyes. make a smokey eye look using different shades of bronze/gold/brown (lay off the black and gray colors). When you put on the mascara, pull the brush away towards the side of your head, so instead of looking straight like this
|| they will look like this \\\\\. to give it a more angled look, more dramatic. then do eyeliner 3/4 of the way on your eye instead of your whole eye lid. but if you already put it just 3/4 of the way, line your whole lid. use a peach satin blush, like the one from maybelline (its the dream mousse one). use a clear lip gloss and your good to go!!!!

Highlighter used on top of your cheek bones and edges of eyes under brow. The Body Shop do a great one. It really brightens up your face. Maybe you could try different coloured lipstick (use gloss on top) or eyeshadow for a varying look? Good luck and I'm sure you'll look great!!

You sound up to date so you probably know to use slightly warmer than lukewarm water to open your pores before cleansing and after cleaning, cooling the skin down and shrinking them again?
(That's just a tip, not advice).
The day before, put some of your regular cleanser in your palm and add some sugar. GENTLY cleanse your face in circular motions and rinse well. This will exfoliate and remove all old and dead skin cells. I wouldn't recommend using toner straight after the exfoliation but, moisturise!

I love MAC products. I not an advocate lipstick user. I would recommend the lip glass and eye shadows. Try the Ooh baby, wet %26amp; wonderful both lip glasses and for eye shadows try amber lights, mulch, motif, rice paper, and mythology. Oh yeah you'll love the current lip liner. Try to go to the MAC store vs. a MAC counter. The artist will consult with you one on one and show you some pointers. Lastly, I would recommend going during the week vs. w/e. I LOVE the Max Factor Lipfinity lipsticks!!! They last all day and sometimes you can find them onsale (sometimes) for $8.99 usually I think they are $11.99.

2. Apply one thin layer of lipstick over this ';foundation';. Gently dab at any excess lumps or uneven layers with a wad of toilet paper.
3. Now apply one more layer of ';foundation'; and finish off with another layer of lipstick and a little gloss if you need it.

NYX has really nice lipsticks and lip glosses. Both are really pigmented and they wear really nicely. Honestly with lip gloss, there aren't a lot of companies that don't produce good lip glosses, but when you're looking for lipsticks, avoid ones that are hydrating because those tend to not last as long. NYX has really nice lipsticks and lip glosses. Both are really pigmented and they wear really nicely. Honestly with lip gloss, there aren't a lot of companies that don't produce good lip glosses, but when you're looking for lipsticks, avoid ones that are hydrating because those tend to not last as long.
